NEW YORK (dpa-AFX Broker) – The US bank JPMorgan has downgraded Lufthansa twice from “Overweight” to “Underweight” and lowered the price target from 12.50 to 7.00 euros. In his industry outlook for 2024 for the European transport and logistics sector, analyst Samuel Bland now votes for all network airlines to be “underweight”. He fears that significant capacity expansions in an environment of lower economic growth could put their returns under pressure again. In Thursday’s study, Bland instead relies on the low-cost airline Ryanair, whose shares he even put on the “Analyst Focus List”. Here he likes the capacity restrictions compared to the classic airlines./gl/ag
