“The date of the next European, federal and regional elections is almost official: June 9, 2024, 421 days left. The local and provincial elections will follow a few months later. All policy levels will go to the polls next year, so we can expect a deluge of all kinds of new ideas and proposals in the coming year,” writes political scientist Carl Devos. “Not only about other ‘substantive’ policy – for example for education or pensions – but also about the rules of the game of politics.
