The marriage of Cem Yılmaz and Ahu Yağtu, which started in March 2012, did not last long. Despite the birth of a son named Kemal in August of the same year, the couple divorced in December 2013 on the grounds of “shaking the foundation of the marriage union”. The court, which gave custody of the child to the mother, decided that Cem Yılmaz should pay 10 thousand dollars per month in child support for his son.
Eight years after the divorce, the comedian demanded that the alimony paid to Ahu Yağtu of 10 thousand dollars be reduced and determined as 40 thousand TL. 1996 Miss Turkey, former model Pınar Özçapkın and the child’s driver Ali Elbasan were heard as witnesses of Ahu Yağtu at the hearing. Istanbul 11th Family Court partially accepted Cem Yılmaz’s request in March 2022 and converted the alimony into TL in dollars. It was decided that the alimony of 10 thousand dollars be determined as 70 thousand TL.
DOLLAR ALIGNMENT HAS BEEN EXECUTIVE!
Stating that Cem Yılmaz, the father of his 10-year-old son, paid 70 thousand TL before the court decision became final, Ahu Yağtu applied to the Regional Court of Justice. Saying, “The child support should be paid 10 thousand dollars,” Yağtu gave his ex-wife to the execution.
The master comedian, who wrote in his petition that the cost of alimony was determined by the court as 70 thousand TL per month, applied to the Istanbul Enforcement Law Court and demanded the cancellation of the enforcement process regarding the alimony demanded according to the old provisions.
“Exploit motherhood, wife status”
Selen Görgüzel, whose eight-year relationship with director Hamdi Alkan surprisingly ended on March 18, 2022, made a remarkable statement regarding the alimony crisis between the former spouses. The 43-year-old actress and singer shared the following from her Instagram account:
No one should be sorry, this is an exploitation of motherhood and being a wife! I regretfully condemn my fellow men who trade in marriage!
Selen Görgüzel and Hamdi Alkan, who agreed to end their marriage in a single session, did not demand any alimony, material and moral compensation from each other.
