Anadolu Efes will host Manisa Büyükşehir Belediyespor in the quarter-final match of the Basketball ING Turkish Cup.
The match, which will be played at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall, will start at 18.00.
In the ING Turkish Cup, where the teams that completed the first half of the season in the first 8 places in the league compete, the quarter-final matches will be played as a single match. The winning teams will be eligible to take part in the Final Four at the Karatay Sports and Congress Center in Konya between 16-18 February.
After parting ways with head coach Erdem Can, Anadolu Efes appointed Tomislav Mijatovic and won all 4 matches with its new coach. The dark blue-whites defeated EA7 Emporio Armani Milan and Maccabi Playtika in the THY Europa League, and completed the matches against Bahçeşehir Koleji and Galatasaray Ekmas in the Turkish Insurance Basketball Super League with victories.
Last year’s Turkish Cup organization was canceled due to the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, 2023. Anadolu Efes, the last owner of the cup, became the champion by defeating Fenerbahçe Beko 86-72 in the final played in 2022.
