The excitement of the play-off quarter-finals has begun in the ING Basketball Super League. The defending champion Anadolu Efes hosted Pınar Karşıka at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall.
Anadolu Efes, who finished the first period ahead 22-17, also went ahead 43-30 in the locker room. Continuing its pressure game in the third quarter, Anadolu Efes entered the final period with a 65-43 lead.

Buğrahan Tuncer, Shane Larkin, Erten Gazi scored 13 points each and James Anderson scored 16 points for Anadolu Efes. Amath M’Baye was the scorer of the match with 23 points in Pınar Karşıyaka.
The second match in the series will be played on Friday, May 13, at 19:30, at Pınar Karşıyaka’s field in İzmir.
If Anadolu Efes wins this match, they will advance. If Pınar Karşıyaka wins, the series will be extended to the third game.
