The game has been postponed until after 9:30 p.m. after Liverpool fans skipped security checks and went over the stadium fences
The 2021-2022 Champions League final between Real Madrid and Liverpool it had to be delayed more than half an hour due to a problem with the entrance to the Stade de France.
The match between the English and Spanish was supposed to start at 9:00 p.m., but it was delayed -at first- to 9:15 p.m. However, it ended up setting the start time at 9:30 p.m. in order to be able to troubleshoot access to the stadium.
Some Liverpool fans without a ticket managed to overcome the fences and access the Stade de France. The French police tried to identify them. There was tear gas release, and the brother and wife of Matic (pregnant), defender of the English club, have had to take shelter in a restaurant. Finally, the final began at 9:37 p.m., almost 40 minutes after the initial hour.

The biggest delay in a European Cup Final was the Heysel’s tragedy in 1985, which ended with 39 people killed and the game starting 85 minutes late. Tomorrow marks the 37th anniversary of that incident.
