An official from Entre Ríos was denounced for having impersonated a uber app driver, with the aim of abusing a young woman in the city of Paraná. The denounced, Fernando Cavigliahe served as Secretary of Industry and Foreign Trade of the province, and resigned at the request of the governor Gustavo Bordet.
“On Tuesday, July 18, 2023, my cousin asked for an Uber to return home, the usual thing that women do because it is supposedly safer. Unfortunately, she ran into this driver, ”a relative of the alleged victim recounted in an Instagram post.

The car registered in the application, and that was used for the alleged assault, was a white Toyota, Etios model. Justice is now investigating whether the same vehicle was driven by the Fernando Cavigliawho “used another Uber identity and another person’s user.”
Fernando Caviglia replied that he was surrounded by his lawyers and that he would meet with the governor later to clarify the situation.
