Aftonbladet’s experienced music editor Markus Larsson admits to Iltalehti that Wrapper is really strong to beat the fives.
– When I saw the first clip Cha, cha, cha, I just thought that was incredible. I knew right away that this could be successful, says Larsson.
So who will win, Käärijä or Sweden? Loreen?
– Yaa-a, I’m not as sure of Loreen’s win as the betting companies. Sweden has a better show, but Finland has a funnier show. Finland knows how to get viewers for this program. I believe the jury will be the one to decide.
Finland performs in a better performance place than Sweden, i.e. thirteenth. Sweden is in 9th place.
– It is a pity that both early favorites appear in the first half. Here is a small advantage for Finland. Loreen is one of the best singers of all time, if not the best. In the case of rapper Käärijä, there has been a bit of polishing in the song.
Larsson doesn’t see much importance in this for Käärijä.
– Loreen has to sing exactly right. For Käärijä, mistakes are more permissible when his song is not based so much on vocals but on energy. He is like Finland Markolio!
Finally, Larsson mentions that he has Finnish ancestry.
– So, in a way, I can be happy about the victory of either of them, Larsson laughs.
