One person was injured when trying to assassinate the former Minister of Defense of the Donetsk People’s Republic Vladimir Kononov, reported in the press service of the Ministry of State Security of the DPR.
“Today, February 22 at 16:32 (17:32 Moscow time) near the intersection of Lazarenko and Tsushimskaya streets, an attempt was made to carry out a terrorist act against the former Minister of Defense of the DPR Vladimir Kononov,” the report says.
According to the ministry, as a result of the assassination attempt, one local resident, who was going to meet with Kononov, received a mine-explosive injury.
