An Ajax supporter tried to kiss the steward: a gate ban

The Dutch football league match saw an unfortunate episode when an Ajax supporter tried to kiss a female law enforcement officer who worked in a stands.

The match was played in Amsterdam between Ajax and the away team Sparta Rotterdam on April 9th.

A week after the match, that supporter received a letter from Ajax stating that his behavior was not acceptable.

As a result of his behavior, the supporter was banned from the club’s home stadium by Johan Cruijff Arena.

Later, an image of a letter sent by Ajax spread on social media. The authenticity of the letter has been valued, but the club’s management has ensured that the event described in the letter is true.

The supporter has also been banned from participating in both Ajax away games and other events organized by the club. Panna is valid “until further notice”.

There may be even more sanctions. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) may impose a fine of € 450 on a supporter and prohibit him from taking part in national team matches at the stadium.
