Amsterdam Tigers has now outgrown the level in the Netherlands and that is why the plan arose to join a stronger foreign competition. This means that the Amsterdam ice hockey women will play in the prestigious German Bundesliga this year. A project that the capital is very proud of.
“If you really want to play competitive ice hockey, then this is really the next step,” says captain Britt Wortel. “This was something we wanted for years and now it has finally happened. Now we can continue to build from here.”
