Amsterdam Pirates has forced a decider in the Holland Series. The baseball players remained alive in the remainder of the sixth game: 1-5. The seventh and final game in the Holland Series starts on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 PM.
Amsterdam started the game strongly on Saturday and the baseball players took a 3-0 lead, partly due to a homerun by Kenny Berkenbosch. After seven innings there was a 5-1 score on the scoreboard in favor of the home team. Then it rained too hard and the referees stopped the match.
There were still two innings to play on Sunday, but Pirates gave up no more runs.
