The German-American football professional Amon-Ra St. Brown has shone again in the NFL for the Detroit Lions and set an all-time club record.
The 22-year-old managed a touchdown in the sixth consecutive game across the season.
St. Brown drew level with Leon Hart (1951) and Herman Moore (1994). Next week, the wide receiver will be the sole top position.
St. Brown scored two touchdowns at 36:27 against the Washington Commanders. With a 13-yard catch, the pass catcher made it 11:0 in the first quarter, and in the final phase the 22-year-old caught a ball from eleven yards to make it 35:21.
Equanimeous St. Brown loses for the first time this NFL season
Last season, St. Brown had two touchdowns in a game as a rookie.
The Lions celebrated their first win of the new season after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles (35-38). After a 22-0 lead, the hosts had to tremble again.
St. Brown’s older brother Equanimeous suffered their first loss of the season with the Chicago Bears. The Bears lost 10:27 against the Green Bay Packers around last year’s MVP Aaron Rodgers. St. Brown ran for 39 total yards as his team’s top receiver.
German fullback Jakob Johnson was not used in the Las Vegas Raiders’ loss. The Raiders lost 23:29 in overtime to the Arizona Cardinals, their second loss in the second game.
