Meta Platforms, Facebook’s parent company, has contributed to human rights violations against the Tigray community in Ethiopia. This is the conclusion of Amnesty International in a new report. According to the human rights organization, Facebook’s algorithms ensured that hate speech and calls for violence were increasingly amplified.
