In the BMW plant in Berlin-Haselhorst on the street Am Juliusturm, a person suffered minor burns on Saturday evening.
The plant fire brigade was already on site and had taken the first measures after the hazardous goods escaped. According to BZ information, it is ammonia.
Around 70 workers with 20 vehicles were alerted to Haselhorst at the plant, including various special vehicles from the technical service.
According to initial findings, there is said to have been a small escape of ammonia, which was bound. The workshop is now being ventilated.
According to initial information, the injured worker should remain on site. The cause of the incident and why the ammonia leaked is not yet known.
