Amersfoort school wants to break the world record for chalk chalking | NOW

Draw a chalk trail of 5 kilometers. It sounds quite ambitious, but students of GSG Guido VMBO in Amersfoort will try to set the world record for chalk on pavement on Thursday 16 June.

The world record attempt is intended to raise money. The GSG Guido school building on the Arnhemseweg is being completely renovated and in order to collect as much as possible, students participate in a 12 and 24 hour marathon, for which they are sponsored.

This is how all students start with a on Thursday 16 June at 9.00 pm color run around the school, after which they take some regular classes. All students are also trying to set the world record for chalk chalk by drawing a chalk track of 5 kilometers from Arnhemseweg to Hardwareweg 11. There is the temporary school building where the students will be taught during the new construction.

The students of the lower years have finished their marathon on Thursday evening at 9 p.m., but the students of the superstructure will continue for a while. They will not stop the marathon until Friday morning.
