An American tourist has suffered minor injuries after falling into the crater of the volcano Vesuvius while trying to find his phone. The 23-year-old and his family reached the 1,281-meter peak of the volcano that towers over the southern Italian city of Naples after bypassing a visitor’s gate and following a trail that was off limits.
