An ambulance from the Berlin fire brigade and a car collided at the intersection of Potsdamer Strasse and Bülowstrasse on Thursday evening.
The intersection was fully closed and cordoned off over a large area. Bus services were also temporarily suspended.
According to the fire department, five people were injured in the accident, three from the car and two from the ambulance.
How exactly the accident could have happened is still unclear.
