Sven van Doorm will play football with the number three of the first division. The Telstar midfielder exchanges Velsen-Zuid for FC Eindhoven after four years. The 25-year-old Van Doorm had the ambition to take a step higher.
In April, Van Doorm had already announced that he would not extend his expiring contract with Telstar. He thought it was time for a new challenge. For a long time FC Volendam seemed to become Van Doorm’s new club, but it is unclear how concrete that interest really was. FC Eindhoven then acted quickly and fished Van Doorm in on a free transfer. In the City of Light he signs a contract for two years.
Van Doorm played in the youth of Vitesse for twelve years. Van Doorm settled at Telstar in 2018. The first year he was hired from the Arnhem team, after which the Velsenaren contracted him. He then played more than a hundred games for De Witte Leeuwen.
