Amber Heard may play a bigger role in the upcoming movie Aquaman 2 than previously thought. Previously, there was speculation that the actress would no longer appear in the film after the alleged defeat in the defamation lawsuit against her ex-husband Johnny Depp.

According to a report by Spanish newspaper Marca, fans can watch Amber Heard in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom for about 20 minutes. There were rumors beforehand that those responsible had cut their role in “Aquaman 2” to ten minutes. Later, some experts even assumed that Heard would be completely removed from the film.
The newspaper reported that Warner Bros. was holding a meeting to decide whether Heard would appear in the final version of the film. Ultimately, the company decided to keep the actress in the film.
Earlier during the trial, Heard opened up about her effort to stay in the film. She said: “They released me from my contract. I fought to stay in the film and they kept me in it.” She added, “I don’t know if I’ll even be in the final cut of the film, or how much I’ll be.”

When asked about the changes to her script, she admitted, “I was given a script. After that I was given new versions of the script. This one was missing scenes involving my character and another character – without giving away spoilers – two characters fighting each other.”
“They basically took a bunch out of my role. They just cut a lot,” she revealed.
