At the proposal of Minister Hoekstra of Foreign Affairs, the Kingdom Council of Ministers has approved two ambassadorial appointments in the Western Hemisphere. These are not final until the host countries have given their approval. The appointments will take effect from next summer.
The Kingdom Council of Ministers approved the appointment of ambassadors to the following posts:
- Argentina, based in Buenos Aires: Annemieke Verrijp, now ambassador in Santo Domingo.
- Dominican Republic, based in Santo Domingo: Frank Keurhorst, now ambassador in Valletta.
