Amazon puts new logistics center in Hof into operation

The online retailer Amazon has put a new logistics center into operation in Hof, Upper Franconia. The company announced on Monday that 1,000 jobs are to be created there in the first year, with the prospect of up to 1,800. Amazon has invested a three-digit million amount in the new center. Hof-Gattendorf is Amazon’s 18th major logistics center in Germany. (dpa)
