Amazon has named Jenny Freshwater vice president of fashion and fitness.
Freshwater has been working in this position since this month, according to her profile on the career network Linkedin. She comes from within the US online giant, which has just closed its ‘Amazon Style’ clothing stores to improve the online fashion shopping experience and introduce innovative technologies.
Freshwater seems to be the right leadership position for this. She joined Amazon in March 2010 as Data Engineering Manager from streaming media provider RealNetworks. She has already held various management positions in the technology sector at the online giant. Most recently, she worked as Vice President of Traffic and Marketing Technology.
