Holmes, founder and former CEO of Theranos, is now known for being convicted of fraud.
Holmes was only 19 years old when he founded Theranos in 2003. Holmes developed a method that allowed blood tests that were vital to medicine and patient care to be done with just a few drops of blood.
Holmes, a university dropout, built a company worth billions, but years later the success turned into a sharp downward spiral as the truth behind it all began to unfold. There was no evidence that Holmes’ blood test method worked.
