And, after having reiterated it several times, the confirmation now comes from an official note from Rai which denies certain rumors according to which Amadeus had reached an agreement with the company for lead Sanremo for the next two years.

The response from Rai was immediate and, in an official note, denied the rumors about an agreement with the host for Sanremo 2025 and Sanremo 2026. «The news reported by some media outlets on an agreement reached between the Company and Amadeus for the management of the 75th edition of the Sanremo Italian Song Festival are to be considered totally unfounded» we read in the note reported by the press agency Handle.
Who will replace Amadeus in Sanremo?
And the toto-name for the post-Amadeus has already begun. The most recent is that of Michelle Hunziker. «You could return to Rai for Sanremo. He has already done it and would gladly do it again» said Fiorello to Long live Rai2!. Among the names circulated, then, there are also those of Gigi D’Alessio and Alessandro Cattelan. But there was also talk of a possible management entrusted to Laura Pausini and Paola Cortellesi. Or Paolo Bonolis, Carlo Conti, Milly Carlucci.
