the spanish pilot Alvaro Baptist (Ducati) won Race 1 of the Czech Republic GP, on the Most circuit, and extended its lead at the top of the Superbike World Championship standings.

Bautista, who started from the second row on the starting grid, dominated the race with authority and in the last laps he only had to maintain the advantage, while behind him the Turkish Toprak Razgatlioglu (Yamaha), the Englishman Scott Redding (BMW9 and the Northern Irish Johatahan Rea (Kawasaki) fought for second place, which finally went to the Turk.

Bautista’s victory marks Ducati’s 1,000th podium finish, while the Spaniard rises in the overall standings with 271 points to Rea’s 242 and Razgatlioglu’s 223.
