Rescue workers in India have begun an alternative plan to free a large group of workers who have been trapped in a collapsed road tunnel in the Himalayas for almost a week. A previous rescue attempt was unsuccessful. The new operation also involves drilling vertically to the location where the forty are located. According to those involved, it could take another four or five days to reach the victims.
