The changeable Whitsun weather in Berlin and Brandenburg continues after the public holidays.
“Quite unstable weather” is to be expected during the week, said a weather forecaster German Weather Service (DWD) on Monday. Accordingly, there will be alternating storms and thunderstorms and it will be significantly cooler than in the past few days.
► For Whit Monday the DWD expected individual short thunderstorms with gusts of wind in the afternoon and isolated gusts of wind up to 70 kilometers per hour. Temperatures are expected to reach 23 to 26 degrees and drop to 14 to 10 degrees at night. Occasionally rain is possible.
► For Tuesday the DWD predicted changing clouds and isolated showers. The temperatures should reach 22 to 24 degrees.
► Am Wednesday there should also be clear sections in addition to some clouds. From the afternoon there will be denser clouds and rain again. The maximum temperature is 22 to 26 degrees. A weak wind is blowing.
► Am Thursday it is overcast and rainy. Showers and thunderstorms are possible from the afternoon. The maximum values are between 20 and 23 degrees.
After that, according to the DWD, the summer break is over again: From Friday it will be drier, sunnier and warmer again, said the meteorologist.
