LOOK. Belgian Ryanair pilots are on strike in the weekend of 15 and 16 July
Passengers affected by the canceled flights were notified and did not show up at the airport on Sunday. Ryanair canceled 120 flights at Charleroi airport this weekend, 62 on Saturday and 58 on Sunday.
With the strike, the pilots demand, among other things, better wages. They surrendered 20 percent at the start of the corona pandemic to help Ryanair weather the crisis. Now that society is profitable again, they demand higher wages again. According to the pilots, there are also problems with rest times.
In recent days, there have been several meetings between the representatives of the pilots and the airline, but they all came to naught.
