Also more pay for See Buy Fly store employees at Schiphol

Schiphol Airport Retail store employees will receive an additional five percent salary over the next two years. This is reported by FNV. According to the union, the staff owes the wage increase in part to the strikes last summer.

In addition to the salary increase, the See Buy Fly employees receive more travel allowance, extra holiday allowances and a monthly contribution of 25 euros for sports.

Schiphol and the trade unions FNV and CNV already closed at the beginning of this month an agreement about extra allowances and better working conditions for ground staff, including security.

Director behind the cash register

The store staff stopped working twice last summer. As a result, part of the store behind security and passport control was forced to close. During the first strike, one of the stores was able to remain open, because the director of Schiphol Airport Retail then decided to behind the cash register to stand.
