The closing day of the Estonian rally includes only four special stages.

Kalle Rovanperän practically nothing threatens victory anymore, and it seems that the Finnish star is already focusing on additional points in the Power Stage.

However, it has not slowed down the man’s pace. In the first section of the morning, Karaski 1, Rovanperä stretched his streak of consecutive bottom times to ten.

Even if there was no longer any need, the difference at the top increased by more than five seconds.

– It’s going to be its own drive now. There is no risk. The feeling is like this and the speed too. Just let it go, Rovanperä said.

The record in modern rally history is Sébastien Loeb in the name when he set 12 bottom times in a row in the Cyprus World Rally Championship in 2005. Rovanperä can break that record even today.

Esapekka Lappi was the second fastest of the special test. He was also 2.7 seconds behind Rovanpera.

– It was a good bet. There was more grip than I expected.

At the same time, Lapland was already threatening by Thierry Neuville second place. However, it is possible that Hyundai will freeze the duo’s situation.

Teemu Suninen the goal is to bring Hyundai safely to the checkered flag.

– Not bad. Basic driving, Suninen summed it up.
