Already 300 tons of dead fish removed from Oder: cause of environmental disaster still unclear

More than 300 tons of dead fish have already been removed from the river after the environmental disaster on the Oder River, which largely forms the border between Poland and Germany. This was announced by the German Minister of the Environment, Steffi Lemke, on Thursday. “The Oder is currently the scene of an environmental disaster that will damage this precious ecosystem for a long time to come,” said Lemke.
