Straßer wants to attack again
After Linus Straßer had a hard time on the soft and deep slope in Chamonix, the DSV starter now wants to attack again in Bansko and fight for victory in Bansko after Kitzbühel and Schladming. Today Straßer starts the first round with start number 7. Sebastian Holzmann (23) should want to keep his starting position among the top 30. Anton Tremmel (42) and Fabian Himmelsbach (62) complete the DSV squad.

In addition to Manuel Feller, Fabio Gstrein (10), Dominik Raschner (18) and Michael Matt (21) can also count on something in the Austrian team today. For Johannes Strolz (26), it’s about continuing to build up self-confidence with results. Adrian Pertl (27), Joshua Sturm (47) and Jakob Greber (59), who is making his first start in the World Cup today, complete the ÖSV line-up.

Will Feller strike again?
After Manuel Feller took third place in the giant slalom in Bansko yesterday, it will be interesting to see what the Austrian shows in his special discipline today. Feller has already achieved three victories this winter and the ÖSV starter leads the slalom standings with 490 points. Feller could be the first athlete to win four Slalom World Cups in one season since Marcel Hirscher in the winter of 2018/19. Feller has to prove himself fifth on the course.
