11:09 a.m
Ramona Siebenhofer (AUT)
The first Austrian is on the way: Siebenhofer is fast at the top and always moves quickly in the winding middle section. But once she lets herself be driven out and then loses self-confidence and the necessary move. She is second with Shiffrin, eight tenths behind.
11:07
Mikaela Shiffrin (USA)
Mikaela Shiffrin is already easily pushed out at the top and is behind due to several minor mistakes in the middle section. In the lower sliding section she can make up a few hundredths and takes second place with a clear deficit.
11:05
Kajsa Vickhoff Lie (NOR)
The first Norwegian is on the road at the home World Cup! At the top she is even faster than the Swiss and makes a compact impression. She is early in the turns and takes the curves close to the optimal line. That’s why Kajsa Vickhoff Lie has a lead of almost a second – she lets the Norwegian fans celebrate her at the finish!
11:03
Priska Nufer (SUI)
In the upper flat section she is fully in position and therefore just ahead of her compatriot. Then she chooses a straighter line, handles the waves better and can increase the lead. She loses slightly at the bottom, but still crosses the finish line with a lead of more than two tenths!
11:01
Joana Haehlen (SUI)
The Swiss Joana Hählen opens the race in Kvitfjell in fantastic conditions! It struggles with some bumps in icy conditions but seems stable. On a route that is not easy to drive, she chooses a rather round line – she sets the first guide time!

ÖSV attack on the podium
The ÖSV team also has two hot irons in the raffle with World Cup silver medal winner Nina Ortlieb (start number 9) and Mirjam Puchner (13), who drives consistently well. But the double pack of Ramona Siebenhofer (5) and Cornelia Hütter (6) can also calculate chances for top positions. Elisabeth Reisinger (23), Christina Ager (25), Stephanie Venier (26), Tamara Tippler (27), Nadine Fest (31) and Franziska Gritsch (32) are also starting for Austria.
10:19
Switzerland with a broad team
Jasmine Flury (start number 8), who was able to claw the gold medal in the speed discipline, was able to cause a big surprise at the World Championships. In addition to her, Corinne Suter (7) also made it onto the podium. Joana Hählen (1), Priska Nufer (2), Michelle Gisin (16) and Lara Gut-Behrami (17) should not be ignored today. Delia Durrer (28), Juliana Suter (34) and Stephanie Jenal (36) are also there for the Confederates.
10:15
Can Weidle attack the podium?
The DSV hope Kira Weidle (start number 14) has been fighting for victories throughout the season, but recently she had to be satisfied with places outside the top 7 again and again. Can she achieve a top placement again today? In addition, Emma Aicher (29) and Katrin Hirtl-Stanggassinger (41) will be at the start for the German team.
10:04
The favourites
Who are the favorites in Norway today? Victory will probably only go to the Italian Sofia Goggia (start number 12), who is dominating the downhill World Cup this season at will. Behind them there is a wide field of candidates for the podium: their teammates Elena Curtoni (11) and Federica Brignone (18) are to be mentioned, but also Ilka Stuhec (10), Corinne Suter (7), Kira Weidle (14) or Miriam Puchner (13) could be in the front ranks.
Welcome
