Around a year after Serge Gnabry’s headline-grabbing visit to Fashion Week in Paris, two more FC Bayern stars moved to France in the middle of the season: This time Alphonso Davies and Jamal Musiala were spotted at a party.
Alphonso Davies is currently working on his comeback for FC Bayern after recovering from a strained medial ligament. The left-back missed four competitive games in a row; according to his head coach Thomas Tuchel, he will be back in the squad for the first time against SC Freiburg on Friday evening (8:30 p.m.).
Now it comes out: In preparation for the game, the 23-year-old recently attended not just one party, but two.
After “Bild” last reported that Davies attended a celebration with some teammates in a luxury hotel in Munich last Saturday after FC Bayern’s win against RB Leipzig (2-1), the tabloid is now revealing more information. Accordingly, Davies drove on to Paris the next day – together with Jamal Musiala.
Davies has recovered from injury
The Munich duo celebrated there in a nightclub, and other football stars such as Joao Félix from FC Barcelona and ex-teammate Joshua Zirkzee from FC Bologna were also spotted there. Zirkzee is said to have attended a concert by rapper Kanye West, who then also appeared in the club.
Good for Davies and Musiala: The Munich professionals had no training on Monday.
As head coach Thomas Tuchel confirmed at the matchday press conference on Thursday, Alphonso Davies was able to train without any complaints over the course of the week. The left-back only returned to team training on Sunday.
Rumors had recently increased that the winger was working on saying goodbye to FC Bayern. According to Spanish media reports, he is said to have already agreed in principle with Real Madrid about a change. His contract with FC Bayern runs until 2025.
