The Futuristic Acoustics
The AlphaTauri collection for autumn/winter 2022 is entitled “The Futuristic Acoustics”. One of the sources of inspiration was the architecture of the opera house in the Chinese city of Harbin. The contemporary architectural masterpiece impresses with its curved aluminum outer skin, which looks ultra modern and cool, but at the same time inviting and comfortable. The waves and curves of the building are reminiscent of sound waves – like a melody that has solidified into architecture. The immaterial becomes visible, a building becomes tangible. This is the starting point for The Futuristic Acoustics: a collection that captures music.
This season, organic shapes and rounded lines meet silver details, all-over logos and technical materials. Fashionable accents are set by new combinations of materials, new silhouettes, new prints and special decorations, fasteners and details. The carefully coordinated parts of the collection offer maximum possible combinations. The Taurobran® technology and 3D knit ensure outstanding functionality. The color palette for Autumn/Winter 2022 is inspired by a walk in the deep winter forest: white and green, brown and black, sky and dark blue, reddish berry tones.
The pre-collection already gives a preview of the coming season in July. Darker shades such as black, rich gray and the highlight color City Green (ivy green) create a connection. The Pre Collection includes suitable styles for the transitional period, including bestsellers such as technical 3D knit pullovers, shirt dresses and AlphaTauri logo sweaters. A suede jacket in city green with a detachable shearling collar deserves a special mention in menswear.
The colors Royal Fuchsia (bright pink), Deep Lagoon (dark blue-green) and French Blue (light blue) can be found in the first delivery window of the Fall/Winter 2022 collection (August). The styles for the beginning of autumn are a little lighter; Highlights for women include all-over logo cardigans and sweaters made from merino wool. For men there is a quilted jacket and a Taurobran® sweat series consisting of a hoodie, crewneck and matching pants.
The second delivery in September will present the season’s most important innovations: wintry Taurobran® parkas, elegant woolen coats and jackets made of bonded wool for men and women, plus 3D knitwear in cashmere. Styles that combine different materials that offer a different feel and visually appealing look. Special details, such as side zips that can be used to change the silhouette, or detachable collars, hoods and knit inserts. The color palette consists of Pale Lilac (powdery pink), AlphaTauri Navy and Chocolate.
The last drop (October) focuses on the holiday season. Elegant styles and a luxurious feel characterize the collection at the end of the year. A highlight in womenswear is an elegant quilted jacket made of dark blue velvet with a belt. Add a pleated dress, skirt or top. Expressive sweaters made of mohair and merino are available for women and men. There is one in men’s outerwear

Taurobran®, the waterproof and at the same time extremely breathable 3-layer membrane from AlphaTauri, is used in a variety of ways in the 2022 autumn/winter collection. In addition to the successful variants with a classic, technical look, there is now also a refined version of the parkas with a pronounced twill structure. This gives the coats a new, very elegant and luxurious look. Taurobran® is also used in menswear in a bomber jacket and hoodie, making them waterproof and breathable.
The 3D knitwear, made in one piece without any seams, offers a perfect fit and high wearing comfort. A novelty in the collection for autumn/winter 2022 is a fourth material option: in addition to the cotton-wool mix, the performance yarn and the cashmere mix, there is now also a quality with merino wool, which offers an additional, very characteristic feel . The merino blend is used in crew neck sweaters for men and women; the versions with cashmere are available as round-necked and turtleneck pullovers and also as a knitted dress for women.
