The Asturian chooses Suzuka, where he only won once in 2006
“I also like the Monaco street layout, although I would choose it for the complete weekend package,” reveals the Aston Martin driver.
Fernando Alonso has revealed what his favorite circuit is in an interview with Bang & Olufsen. The Spaniard, who is in his 20th season and has won 32 races on 19 different tracks, has opted for the circuit of suzukiwhere it only prevailed on a single occasion in 2006.
“If I had to opt for only one circuit, I would choose suzuki. I think he is my favourite. It has many high-speed corners. I also like the Monaco street layout, although I would choose it for the complete weekend package. Lots of things happen at that very special Grand Prix, but suzuki is my favourite”, revealed the Asturian.
The man from Oviedo was also ordered to select three special moments with the three teams in which he has played, Renault, Ferrari and Aston Martin: “All my most special memories are closely related to the results I got at that time. In the case of Ferrari I would choose the first race I won (Bahrain 2010). At Aston Martin I have just started, but for now I would prefer the first podium we got this year (Bahrain) and from Renault I will keep the first title (2005). The best feeling was when I got my first world of F1. Obviously, the second one (2006) also had a strong emotional component, but in the first one I made my dream come true. I achieved the life objective that I had set for myself”.
