The Spanish pilot Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) has stated, on the eve of the Australian Grand Prixthird round of the Formula One World Championshipthat the team arrives in Australia “with good feelings”.
“We arrive in Australia with a good feeling after having achieved two consecutive podium finishes and we hope to continue to improve on these results this weekend”it states alonso in statements released by his team.
“The car has performed quite well on two different circuits (Bahrain and Saudi Arabia). However, we continue with our feet on the ground and are realistic in that, to keep getting good resultswe have to perform in all areas of the team“adds the two-time world champion.
alonso considers that the “Australia is always a fun race” and says he hascurious to see the differences with previous years”. “It’s going to be even faster than last year and I hope we’ll see more overtaking.”he pointed.
“But as always, qualifying will be crucial at Albert Park, so we have to make sure have a good Saturday to put ourselves in the best possible position to score as many points as possible“, emphasizes the Spanish.
