Almost Liberation Day! This is the weather forecast in Zoetermeer

On King’s Day Zoetermeer was lucky with a tad fresh but beautiful sunny weather. What about Liberation Day? Will the weather be nice in Zoetermeer again?

The sunscreen will probably remain in the cupboard, but it will be dry on Thursday 5 May.

The weather forecast for Liberation Day

In Zoetermeer we can count on fine weather. According to the forecast, it will remain dry and the sun will show itself regularly. On Liberation Day it is on average between 12 and 16 degrees. “The weather will be nice, especially in the south and the center of the country. It can get a bit cooler in the north,” says Rico Schröder of WeerOnline. The chance that it will rain is relatively small. Will it get wet? Then there will most likely not be much rain.

The Liberation Festival in Zoetermeer mainly takes place in the evening. Music performances start at 6 pm on the Markt and Nicolaasplein. After 6 p.m. the temperature drops from 14 to 12 degrees. Great weather for a party outside! Just to be safe, bring a jacket or scarf. Otherwise just jump to the beats of the music: you will get warm naturally.

Liberation Day in the past

So this year it is fairly sunny on Liberation Day, but in the past it has been much warmer. According to WeerOnline, the record was set in 1990. At that time it was 27.8 degrees and in 1995 the mercury rose to more than 26 degrees. That was different last year: it didn’t get any warmer than 10 degrees.
