PSV will go to England with an almost fit selection. The people of Eindhoven will fly to Leicester on Wednesday with 21 men for the first quarterfinal of the Conference League.
Only the already injured Ryan Thomas, Philipp Mwene and Armando Obispo did not get on the plane. Érick Gutiérrez was on edge against Copenhagen and took yellow. He is also not there against Leicester City.
According to the club, there are few surprising names in the selection. Captain Cody Gakpo and André Ramalho are therefore also ‘normal’ there. The pair also made minutes against FC Twente (3-3) last weekend. It is striking that there are only five defenders in the selection.
The diptych against Leicester City starts on Thursday evening. Kick-off is at 9 p.m. at the King Power Stadium. In the previous rounds, PSV managed to deal with Maccabi Tel-Aviv and FC Copenhagen.
