79% of recovered Russians faced the consequences of the transferred coronavirus, follows from results research of the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM).
1.6 thousand Russians over 18 took part in the survey by telephone interview. The researchers considered those who had the characteristic symptoms of coronavirus or received a positive test result for COVID-19 to be ill.
Of those who discovered that they had a post-COVID syndrome, almost half (49%) noted such consequences as a violation of taste and smell, another 38% called general weakness.
The majority of Russians who had recovered from the post-COVID syndrome (80%) did not do anything to rehabilitate after the illness, and every fifth of those who recovered from the disease were involved in restorative procedures (20%).
As a form of rehabilitation, Russians most often took medicines and medicines (64%), walked (54%), did breathing exercises (42%) and exercise therapy (41%). A third of those surveyed for recovery from coronavirus paid attention to health and lifestyle (33%), and one in five underwent a medical examination (21%).
