Brain aneurysms occur in our country in one in 550,000 babies. The fact that the condition is genetic is very exceptional. Lisa and Kenneth always have to go to the hospital in Brussels for the operation. And that costs a lot of money. So far already 55,000 euros, of which the health insurance company fortunately repays a large part.
“We have to pay a small amount ourselves. A small amount of 55,000 euros is a large amount for ordinary working people like us. And then we have the admissions, the RMIs, the ultrasounds, the checks. So, it all started to add up .It got harder and harder.”
