Almost 10,000 students at Syntra
One in four of the courses is new and often innovative, such as windmill technician, installer of electric charging stations and heat pump specialist. Marie Van Looveren, director of Group Syntra West-SBM: “The nature of the courses is very diverse. This can include bakers, butchers, electricians, plumbers. But there are also a lot of people who are looking for innovative professions and new professions and new technologies such as renewable energy or industrial automation.”

What is also changing at Syntra is that more and more companies, in their search for suitable people, ask Syntra to provide tailor-made training. And that too is booming. The school currently has a turnover of 35 million euros.
