On Saturday, Pöysti and Vatanen represented at the European Film Awards (EFA) gala in Berlin. Dead leaves was nominated in five categories – including the category of best European film. This time, the Finnish film missed out on an award.
Pöysti and Vatanen were photographed looking stylish on the red carpet of the event. A metallic strapless evening dress was seen above the table. The outfit was completed with a spectacular necklace and simply elegant earrings. Vatanen trusted the dark suit.

Dead leaves is Kaurismäki’s twentieth film, which premiered in September this year. The film won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival in May. Dead leaves is also Finland’s nominee for the best international film Oscar.
