Un memorable, epochal jubilee: with the great concert ahead at Buckingham Palace for Queen Elizabeth’s 70th anniversary – two and a half hours of show, 22 thousand spectators, a live orchestra of over 70 elements and three stages – the highlight of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, more to be said, concluded. There remain the shots of the royal family: land Louis faces, the amazement of Charlotte and George, the queen who appeared twice on the famous balcony. But most of all the looks of Windsor women.
Starting with those by the iconic Kate Middleton, practically perfect and studied for every occasion.
Kate Middleton’s wardrobe studied in detail
The Duchess of Cambridge has passed practically all the other Windsors in terms of style. Even if his looks always take the same models. For Trooping the Color, which celebrates the Queen’s birthday every yearhas chosen a pure white Alexander McQueen (its reference brand) already brought in June 2021 to the G7 in Cornwall.
Kate then opted for a yellow coat dress by Emilia Wickstead, among the hottest colors of the 2022 summer season. The look, snug at the top with a woven detail, was paired with a Philip Treacy hat of the same color with a combination of roses. Virtually ineffable.
A red coat… full of energy
A red coat for Kate Middleton in Wales. With William and children George and Charlotte of Cambridge went to attend the rehearsal of the Jubilee concert at Cardiff Castle, Wales. The chosen leader was of Eponine London, a “new” brand in Middleton’s wardrobe.
Red, on the other hand, in this case in the orange shade, is a color that the Duchess loves very much. And that’s not accidental: she takes back the Union Jack.
Stella McCartney dressed Kate Middleton made to measure
Another look we liked was the last one, worn on Sunday 5th June, for the last day of the Jubilee celebrations. It was a light purple bespoke dress by Stella McCartney with slightly embossed sleeves at the cuffs.
Pinks, cyclamen, lilacs and even this purple suit Kate rather than orange it is a color that highlighted the duchess’s “English rose” complexion.
