The Tour de France takes place in its 112nd edition from July 5th to 27th, 2025. The 21 stages comprise a distance of 3,338.8 kilometers. T-online accompanies all stages in the live ticker.

This year the route of the Tour de France runs exclusively through France, which was last the case in 2020. On the way to Paris, the drivers have to master over 3,300 kilometers and 52,500 meters of altitude.

The five mountain arrangements are special challenges, including legendary climbs such as the Mont Ventoux and the Col de la Loze. The organizers came up with something special for the final stage in Paris: For the first time, the Peloton is going up the mountain up to the Sacré-Cœur basilica through the Montmartre artist district.

The top favorite is the Slovenian Tadej Pogačar, who strives for his fourth title after his victories 2020, 2021 and 2024. His main competitor is the Dane Jonas Vingegaard, who had to take a longer break after falling at the beginning of the year. Outsider chances are assigned to the Belgian Remco Evenepoel and the Slovenian Primož Roglič. From a German perspective, the hopes of Florian Lipowitz, which will start for the first time at the Tour de France.

At the Tour de France, the yellow, the green, the white and the mountain jersey are awarded. The best in the overall ranking gets the yellow jersey, the best sprinter the green jersey, the best mountain rangers the mountain jersey (red and white dotted) and the best young driver is honored with the white jersey.
