On the operating profit side, Dell is also very well off with 4.7 billion dollars for an increase of 26% compared to 2021. To a lesser extent, Dell’s server and network activities are also on the rise, with +7% (YoY) and 4.7 billion in turnover; while storage products brought in $4.5 billion in sales for Dell over the past year.
Note however that this virtuous dynamic has not been observed at VMWare. Separated from Dell for a few months, the company for its part shows an increase in turnover (+9% to 12.785 billion dollars), but a net result which drops by 11% to 1.82 billion dollars, underlines The Computer World.
