Biathlon season 2022/23: calendar and dates at a glance
The biathlon season started on November 29, 2022 with the competitions in Kontiolahti, Finland. There, on the last weekend in November, the battle for the overall World Cup began for the 46th time.
At the beginning of the year, the biathlon entourage moved on to Ruhpolding via Hochfilzen, Annecy and Pokljuka. The dress rehearsal for the World Championships will then take place in Antholz.

When will the Biathlon World Cup 2022 take place?
The Biathlon World Championships in Oberhof will take place from February 8th to February 19th, 2023. The competitions are traditionally opened by the mixed relay.
After the sprints and the pursuit races, the two biathlon singles are on the program on February 14th and 15th.
The single-mixed relay, as well as the men’s and women’s relays, form the gallop for the grand finale: the mass start races on February 19th.

All biathlon world cup races can also be seen on free TV in the coming season. In addition to ARD and ZDF, “Eurosport” also has broadcasting rights and will show every event live.
