Olympia 2024: Who will broadcast the Paris Games on TV?

In Germany, TV broadcasting for the 2024 Olympic Games has been regulated for a long time. The main rights belong to Discovery (Eurosport).

However, the public broadcasters ARD and ZDF have acquired sublicenses from Discovery and will be able to show the competitions as usual on free TV and also in the live stream.

By the way, the broadcast of the Summer and Winter Olympics is secured in Germany in the long term. In spring 2023, ARD and ZDF announced that they had acquired the media exploitation rights for all games from 2026 to 2032 via the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
