All Eyez On ME: Florentina wants to “simply catch” with her music

In the 14th episode of All Eyez On ME in focus: Florentina. She is a newcomer and an old acquaintance at the same time. When she was 13, she was a background singer on Casper’s album HINTERLAND. At 16 she was on stage with “The Voice of Germany” and at 19 she covered a track by Jason Derulo on the show “My Hit, Your Song”. But she also has her own strong voice, which comes into play in her solo songs.

The music of the 23-year-old from Mannheim alternates between pop and hip-hop, her lyrics reveal vulnerability and power at the same time. In the selfie interview, we learn exactly how she got into German rap and why she admires great singers like Ariana Grande and Jessie J, but why big feature names aren’t all that important to her. And above all, she sweeps you away with her enthusiasm for music – maybe she’ll catch you too?
